We started this site as a place to save and share recipes that we enjoy. Some are our own creation, some are family recipes, and some are from other recipe sites, either way we have done our best to try to list the source. You will not find any long winded stories, anecdotes, or ramblings here. At most you will only see a short blurb that is directly related to the recipe itself.
We also love to drink wine so we are dedicating part of this site to document the wines we have drank and would drink again. This is meant to be a simple record of what we enjoyed and not a rating or review.
We promise to never add advertisements to this site and bog down your computer with all of that nonsense, we did not create this site to make money.
A little about us…
Craig is always looking for new flavor combinations. If you had to categorize how he cooks it would be “the use everything in the kitchen cook”, by the time the food is ready, every pot, pan and utensil has been used to the fullest extent. Craig’s background in photography also can be seen on this site as all images were taken and retouched by him.
Tim has always enjoyed working with and around food. As a kid he would help his grandmother in the kitchen to make all different types of food. He still has her original book that she would write recipes in. While it has since been scanned for easy reading, the book itself is stored in plastic to help preserve the the pages from deterioration. Tim has worked in several restaurants and held just about every position there is in the kitchen, dinning room and bar areas. If you had to categorize how he cooks it would be “the clean cook”, always cleaning as he goes.
Sophie…because we had to put a picture of our cat on here somewhere. She is normally close by when we are in the kitchen especially if she smells tuna or butter (don’t worry we don’t actively give her butter to eat).
