Unfortunately, we do not remember where this recipe came from, someone may have posted it on Facebook. This is a quick and easy, “healthy-ish” burger, works great for a weeknight meal.
Black Bean Turkey Burgers
Servings: 4 – 6
Ingredients
- 1 c Black Beans
- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- ¾ c Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ½ c Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 pkg Onion Soup Mix
Instructions
- Rinse and slightly crush the black beans
- Mix all ingredients together
- Form 4-6 patties
- Grill or fry for 5-7 minutes per side
Notes
- These work great served on toasted whole grain english muffins
- Add mayo and / or dijon mustard to the toasted muffin if desired
