This caesar salad works great as a side salad or just add a bit of protein and it makes a filling dinner salad. Pictured is a dinner salad with salmon.
Caesar Salad
Servings: 2 – 4
Ingredients
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce
- 1 Avocado
- Caesar Dressing *see note for making your own dressing
- Croutons *see note on making your own croutons
- Sliced Cherry Tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
- Chop lettuce and add to a bowl.
- Cube avocado and add to lettuce.
- Add desired number of croutons.
- Add caesar dressing. (Amount will vary depending on how dry or wet you prefer your salad.)
- Lightly toss the salad. You do not want to break up the avocado.
Notes
- Kick it up a notch and make your own Caesar Dressing and Croutons. (Your cook and prep time will vary depending on if these items are already made or not)
- If you would like to make this a meal you can add a protein to make it a little more substantial. Some ideas are:
