We had a pumpkin ginger cocktail at a restaurant in San Francisco when we lived there (unfortunately, do not remember the name of the place at this point). We found it very interesting as it was served with crushed pistachios on top. After several attempts we were able to come up with this recipe that closely resembles the original that we had. This works great as a fall cocktail and is a favorite at Thanksgiving.
Pumpkin Ginger Cocktail
Ingredients
- Ice
- 4 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Canton Ginger Liqueur
- 2 oz Pumpkin Syrup
- ½ Lemon
- Pistachios
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, Canton, pumpkin syrup and juice from lemon. Shake well.
- Strain into glasses filled with ice.
- Add crushed pistachios to top as garnish.
