Pumpkin Syrup

Pumpkin Syrup

This is a simple recipe for pumpkin syrup that can be used in drinks and cocktails or served over food.  Works well with fall dishes or cocktails.

Pumpkin Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 c Water
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp All Spice
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cloves

Instructions

  • Add sugar and water to a sauce pan and stir on a medium high heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add in pumpkin puree and spices and continue to stir until the pumpkin is mixed well.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.

Notes

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • The pumpkin and spices will separate, shake well before each use.
