This is a simple recipe for pumpkin syrup that can be used in drinks and cocktails or served over food. Works well with fall dishes or cocktails.
Pumpkin Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 c Water
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Ground Ginger
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp All Spice
- ¼ tsp Ground Cloves
Instructions
- Add sugar and water to a sauce pan and stir on a medium high heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Add in pumpkin puree and spices and continue to stir until the pumpkin is mixed well.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- The pumpkin and spices will separate, shake well before each use.
