Chocolate Buttercream

Butter

Cocoa Powder

Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
Add the butter and a pinch of salt to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar about 1/2 cup at a time until mixed on low until combined.
Add cocoa powder and mix on low to combine.
Add the vanilla extract and heavy cream.
Continue mixing until the frosting is light and fluffy.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of powdered sugar based on how sweet you want the frosting.
If the frosting is too think add more cream, if it is too thin add more powdered sugar.
This should be enough to frost a two layer cake or 4 dozen cup cakes.
