Tim’s grandmother would make this pashka at most family gatherings. It is a Russian Easter dessert that is traditionally served in a mold, but we serve it in a bowl as a spread. It is rich and creamy and works great as an appetizer or dessert.
Pashka
Ingredients
- Unflavored Gelatin
- 16 oz Cream Cheese softened
- ½ c Butter softened
- ½ c Sugar
- ½ c Sour Cream
- 1 c Slivered Almonds
- 1 ½ c Raisins
Instructions
- Soften the gelatin in ¼ cup of water. Set aside.
- Mix cream cheese, butter, and sugar.
- Add sour cream and gelatin, mix well.
- Stir in almonds and raisins.
- Chill overnight in refrigerator.
