Pashka

Tim’s grandmother would make this pashka at most family gatherings.  It is a Russian Easter dessert that is traditionally served in a mold, but we serve it in a bowl as a spread.  It is rich and creamy and works great as an appetizer or dessert.

Ingredients

  • Unflavored Gelatin
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • ½ c Butter softened
  • ½ c Sugar
  • ½ c Sour Cream
  • 1 c Slivered Almonds
  • 1 ½ c Raisins

Instructions

  • Soften the gelatin in ¼ cup of water. Set aside.
  • Mix cream cheese, butter, and sugar.
  • Add sour cream and gelatin, mix well.
  • Stir in almonds and raisins.
  • Chill overnight in refrigerator.
